POST N.273 - Idee per la mitigazione ambientale - Il bosco verticale di Boeri

In questo post e nei seguenti riportero' alcune risorse utili per cio' che puo' riguardare la mitigazione ambientale che possono fornire spunti o suggestioni (spero).

In questo post si riporta il Bosco verticale di Boeri, l'architetto che ha "imboscato" (battuta... scherzo) un grattacielo di 110 metri.

Le facciate del bosco verticale ospitano 900 alberi di grande e medio fusto, 5.000 arbusti di grandi dimensioni e 11.000 piante floreali perenni per un totale di cento specie diverse, che si densificano in altezza fino a ricoprire un'area equivalente a due ettari di forestazione.

ll 19 novembre 2014 il Bosco Verticale è risultato vincitore dell'International Highrise Award, competizione internazionale a cadenza biennale per l'assegnazione del premio di grattacielo più bello del mondo: l'edificio, in quanto «esempio eccellente di rivitalizzazione di un centro urbano», è stato scelto tra ottocento grattacieli di tutti i continenti.

ll riconoscimento come «grattacielo più bello ed innovativo del pianeta» è del 13 novembre 2015, quando il Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, promosso dal Illinois Institute of Technology di Chicago, ha eletto il Bosco Verticale «Migliore Architettura del Mondo 2015».

The victory in Chicago, the city that saw the first skyscrapers rise, and receiving the award inside of the famous Crown Hall done in 1956 by Mies van der Rohe, makes this award even more significant for european and italian architecture.
